We Are The Future:
A Black-led student coalition at Lafayette College, dedicated to fighting systemic racism and discrimination on College Hill. As scholars, student leaders, and abolitionists, our goal is to dismantle any system that does not promote the true equality and equity of all persons regardless of race.
Our Movement
Dear Lafayette College is dedicated to the eradication of racism on College Hill through the immediate implementation of Five Central Demands. Though these are not the only demands to achieve our goals, if they are not achieved then there cannot be Black liberation at Lafayette College and beyond this institution.

Not Restorative, but Transformative Justice, and Community Accountability

End of Surveillance and Criminalization within institutional Education

Abolishing the Housing Tier System that Restricts BIPOC Quality of Life

Invest in Community Care, Not Institutional Power

Demilitarize and Defund Campus Police
